A Living Legacy
The Humphrey Hiuhu Foundation was established to honor the memory of a wonderful man: My Dad
HH Wakahiu. To those who knew him, his life was defined by a beautiful combination of kindness, laughter, gentleness, humility, and above all, deep generosity.
He was a man who intentionally loved his family, stood as a pillar of support, and extended unwavering kindness to absolute strangers.
The Humphrey Hiuhu Foundation is a direct reflection of what he was all about—taking the seed of his memory and turning it into a living mission of active love.

Feeding Program
Your generosity directly funds our vital, ongoing commitment to provide consistent food and clean water every single month. For over five years, this community's support has ensured that the children at the center never have to sleep hungry. By securing their most basic nutritional needs, your financial gifts relieve the crushing burdens carried by single mothers, restoring hope to families and creating the physical foundation necessary for these children to thrive.
Providing a Safe Place
Your donations help maintain the Happy Mercy Center as a secure, dignifying environment where vulnerable children can heal and grow. Many of these children come from single-parent households trapped in absolute poverty, where mothers face overwhelming hardships just to survive. By funding the center’s upkeep, you support Director Mary in providing a stable sanctuary where these children live safely, experience compassionate care, and still preserve vital family bonds through regular visits home throughout the year.
